Bids being taken on these donated paintings from renown artist

Mark Loughney

These five paintings were donated by Lackawanna County native Mark Loughney to be sold for the benefit of Cypress House Bakery. Mark was incarcerated during the pandemic and painted a series he calls Nervous. “These drawings are a shot at levity in an otherwise horrifying environment.”  Mark’s current work, “Marking Time: Art in the Age of Mass Incarceration,” is on exhibit at the Schomberg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York City.
